“Movies vs. Life” is a funny new video by the French comedy group Golden Moustache that compares faultless film scenes to real life equivalents, which are full of fails (English subtitles are available). You may remember when we last wrote about Golden Moustache and their video exploring “The Sex Life of Video Game Characters.”

As a gag at during the 2013 White House Correspondents’ Dinner on April 27th, Stephen Spielberg revealed asatirical teaser for his next presidential film, Obama, starring Daniel Day-Lewis. President Obama then appeared during the spoof acting as if he were Daniel Day-Lewis getting ready for the challenging role.

On April 27, 2013, President Barack Obama opened the 2013 White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington, D.C. and cracked jokes, including some at his own expense. At one point, he said about getting older, “These days, I look in the mirror and I have to admit, I’m not the strapping young Muslim socialist that I used to be.” Later Conan O’Brien took the stage and poked fun at a variety of issues, including the decline of print media, saying “The print media is here for two reasons: food and shelter.”
A company called Virtuix, developed the Omni, an omnidirectional treadmill controller for virtual environments. The company has shown off support for games including Crysis Warhead, Team Fortress 2, and Skyrim in a series of YouTube videos, but we’re told that the device will work with all PC games when it’s released. Virtuix is aiming to launch a Kickstarter campaign for the Omni around the end of May or the beginning of June, and it’s targeting a price of $400-600 for the device. Brian of Kotaku recently shared photos of the “Ripe Tomato” (“kanjuku tomato”), a cutting-edge hairstyle created by Hiro of Osaka-based salon Trick Store.
